Service is always spot on. We can usually get in with little wait or can make a reservation. The food quality is solid and and is a fun place to go in west Seattle.

Great local spot to get a tasty steak. Attentive and friendly service. Calamari was great as an appetizer and highly recommend. Steaks were all cooked to preference and were juicy. Had the New York and others had the filet. Crème brûlée was perfect for dessert.

Went out here for a family members birthday party and would say it was a nice meal. The atmosphere is lively and the place itself goes back a lot further than you would assume from the street. Front area bar has some tv's and games on and the back is a little more sectioned off with large booths and tables. Food was pretty good, not mind blowing but solid. Wound up getting the steak skewer with cheese sauce which could have been a little warmer but was overall tasty. Sides were good as well. My mom enjoyed her steak and it was rare to her liking which can be tough to find. Definitely a solid place for steak in the west Seattle area but the maybe not quite as elevated of an interior as you'd get from a classic statehouse. Good place to take family or have a group.

After our first visit here, we knew we would be back. Mondays are prime rib days and always a great way to start a week. The restaurant has a romantic cozy feeling with dimmed lights. Street parking is available with paid lots around the corner. The porterhouse for 2 is a great deal and enough to get you full. Steak was cooked to perfection and flavorful. Service is always top notch. The blue cheese topping they offer for the steaks is out of this world. Don't forget the desserts. Crème brûlée is our favorite here

We've been coming here for quite some time now - date night, dinner with the fam, large birthday group, you name it. Each visit has always been a delightful and great experience. The steak here is one of the best, the dirty martinis are dirty, the mash potatoes are creamy, and the lobster mac and cheese is amazing. We prefer Jak's over most of the steakhouses in Downtown Seattle!

Great happy hour! We went there on a Friday night for their happy hour at the bar area. They have happy hour food and drinks Mon thru Friday 4pm-6pm. We arrived at 5:15pm and it was already quite busy. Their drinks and food were both solid and tasty. We ordered one salad to share, and they were very nice and split it into two plates for us. Their happy hour burger was traditional and served warm. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient.

So we found this place on accident. We were about to have breakfast at Easy Street and noticed this small and unassuming spot across the street, yelped it and thought it looked good and came back the next night for dinner and WOW. Very simple decor inside reminiscent of classic steakhouse but the food and service are phenomenal! Our server Paige was so delightful and gave us great recommendations for wine and entrees. We were not disappointed at all with this place. My New York strip was cooked perfectly (and that Gorgonzola and bacon crust was *chef's kiss*). The Mac and cheese with dungenous crab on it was heavenly. Wine was great. We loved this place so much that we made a reservation already on our way out for our Christmas Eve dinner. Highly recommend, excellent prices for the quality of food and service you are getting. About 1/3 of the price of Bourbon in Downtown Seattle and in my opinion much better.

The steak here was da bomb! I felt like I could have sliced it with a butter knife it was so tender and juicy! Left feeling uncomfortably full, as it was so delicious! Ordered the 6oz filet minion with baked potatoes and all the toppings and a summer salad with a glass of Merlot: delicious!! Service was terrific, ambiance was good, but the food was chef-kiss good. The kind I'll be thinking about months later! My bff had the French dip and said it was great!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food is delicious, service is great, and ambiance is warm and inviting. I like going on Mondays for the prime rib dinner special. It's $42 for a 12 ounce prime rib, 2 sides, and Yorkshire pudding. Some of my favorite items are the mixed berry summer salad (seasonal), onion rings, mac and cheese, prime rib (only on Mondays), NY strip, and filet mignon. All the steaks I've tried so far are delicious and high quality. The only thing I wish was different is if a lighter fried calamari could be served instead of the thick calamari steak crisps that have a bit too much batter. The happy hour is quite lively if you can make it Monday-Friday 4-6 PM.

My sister who lives in West Seattle was raving about their bene and was excited to have me visit and taste this dish. We ordered three dishes and shared. Each dish prepared well. The tasty dishes were gobbled up quickly. The place is charming old world feel. Dark wood and an interesting layout for different seating options for all. The staff is friendly and attentive. We went on a Sunday and had an added bonus of partaking in the West Seattle Farmers Market. A great experience after our delightful brunch.
